There's not an opportunity for everybody to get a bond, but in many cases it is possible to get a bond. An immigration court judge is usually going to make that determination if a bond will be issued. And that judge will be looking at two factors. One is what is the flight risk? Meaning is somebody likely to not show up for their court proceedings. Or is that person a threat to society? And it's a great opportunity if somebody has it to get a bond. The process requires a lot of evidence. It's not enough just to say, "he's a good person. I love him or her, and they'll be good and show up." that's not going to satisfy a judge. You have to provide very documented, very solid evidence in a formal setting.
